Joseph A. Turman specializes in commercial litigation, real estate, estate planning, and business formation. A 1970 graduate in General Business Administration and a 1973 graduate from the University of North Dakota School of Law, Joe has a long history of serving the North Dakota and Minnesota communities. In addition to his legal work, Joe has contributed to legal education by authoring outlines for seminars.
Joe began private practice in 1978 and, in 2005, partnered with his daughter, Katrina. Together, they led Turman & Lang, Ltd. before merging with Wold Johnson, P.C. on January 1, 2024. Joe is also a past president of the Cass County Bar Association and has served on the Governor’s Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee.
